TOM LOWE is starring as host for a new musical/dance reality show soon to be seen on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN Network.

Vegas! The Show star TOM LOWE created the male leading role in the major show recently nominated as Best Las Vegas Musical for 2011. The nationally recognized Broadway World equivalent of the Tony for Vegas is internationally acclaimed and recognized as the highest achievement in musical productions.

VEGAS! The Show star Tom Lowe sits down with KLAS Anchor Dayna Roselli to talk about starring in the Las Vegas production. Also, twin tap dancers Sean and John Scott perform live in studio.

Tom starred in the London West End award winning productions of LES MISERABLES and CATS in the roles of “Marius” and “The Rum Tum Tugger”. The multi-talented, award winning, British born singer, actor and composer first rose to fame just out of school, as a member of the teenage boy band NORTH and SOUTH. The band starred in the BAFTA nominated hit BBC TV series NO SWEAT, for which Tom composed and wrote the lyrics for the soundtrack at the age of eighteen. He holds the record as one of the youngest commercial composers in British musical history.

Since performing in Vegas, Los Angeles and New York, he has been active in developing co-productions for the American-China entertainment market. Tom Lowe hosts a major Dole Food Company event at The Grove. Seen with Tom is Dole’s mascot Bobby Banana.

Tom Lowe was host for the 2011 DOLE California Cook-Off at The Grove in Los Angeles. Tom performed the Bobby Banana Rap with Dole’s mascot Bobby Banana. Tom co-wrote the new theme song for Dole. Celebrity chef, Ben Ford, Executive Chef and Proprietor of Ford’s Filling Station judged the nationally recognized contest. Contestants competed with recipes using the best of DOLE products, creativity, flavor and taste. Thousands attended the major event at The Grove.  Dole Food Company is the world’s largest producer and marketer of fresh fruit and vegetables.
